Hello everyone! You may have noticed (probably not) that I’ve taken the end of summer off from posting to handle some other things. I’ve been preparing some slightly longer pieces to give you in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here’s an interesting plug instead:

There’s a podcast/Youtube show I ran into during research for Big Quit Energy called The Retail Warzone, hosted every week by someone who works in retail (and used to manage a store). Though it’s a small community, they have great discussions and insights about working in that industry, from being at the ground level to how HR thinks (I really enjoyed that one, it’s a valuable perspective for anyone battling work-humpers in any industry).

Anyway, lately they’ve been doing a series on perspectives from industries outside of retail, and I’ll be on there to yap about my time in advertising. Check it out live on their Youtube channel or their Twitch! Or, if you’re not interested in me, their previous episodes are a worthy listen for anyone interested in work culture and labor.
