This is terrific, L. Vago. This line hit me: "I may not be a famous filmmaker in the world, but I’m THEIR filmmaker. That’s more gratifying than most professional success I’ve ever had." It's interesting how, when I've picked up something, I became known for that in my social sphere. My friends are alwasy asking me about rucking and what's going on to support the homeless in Louisville. I am not especially an expert in either topic, but I am THEIR expert.

Yea, isn't that experience fun?!

Btw, I'm paraphrasing the nephew of a dear friend, who once casually told her (in regards to art) something along the lines of "you're not famous to the world, but you're famous in the family." I almost straight up teared up when I heard that, haha. I'm actually meaning to write a post more broadly around that concept...it's been in the docket for a while.
